Scorcher guitarist to wed soap actress

Warner Hodges, lead guitarist for the Nashville-based rock group Jason and the Scorchers, will marry soap actress Cynthia J. Tucker of New York in Nashville Sept. 5, it was announced Friday.

Tucker, a recurring character on the television soap ''All My Children,'' met the musician following an appearance by Jason and the Scorchers in New York two years ago. Tucker's younger brother, a fan of the rock group, had corresponded with Hodges and took his sister to a Manhattan appearance. After the show they both went backstage and she and Hodges were introduced. After the wedding, the couple plans to live in New York.
