Hardcore,
punk-energy country at its absolute best. Jasons sound hasnt
changed much since the bands first EP in the early 80s.
The Scorchers bring new life to Gram Parsons and Roger McGuinns
Drugstore Truck Drivin Man and Jason duets with Grams discovery,
Emmylou Harris, on the beautiful Everything Has a Cost which is, at
times, reminiscent of a Phil Ochs song. Warner Hodges guitar is
monstrous throughout. One listen to Tomorrow Has Come Today is proof
of that. Im Sticking With You, with its interesting twists, both
lyrically and musically, is my new favorite song.
